(كمال) وكيل نيابة شاب يتسبب فى إعدام فتى عن طريق الخطأ فيستقيل من النيابة لشعوره بالذنب. يعمل كمال محامياً ولكنه يخسر أول قضاياه نتيجة لضغط أصحاب النفوذ.. تؤدي هذه الأحداث إلى إكتئابه وإدمانه للخمر، حتى يجتذبه رجل أعمال فاسد (محمد الحاج) للعمل لديه فتنقلب حياته رأساً على عقب، ويدور صراع بينه وبين صديق عمره الضابط (علي) الذي يحاول إعادته لحياته الشريفة.
